It's been a LONG time since I've wrote here. Lots has changed over the years I've been here. But lets the of this post. The end, the end of NoStrings and it's literal thousands of other sister sites. Recently the site has changed a of things that have notably driven away the already limited female population left on the site. Likely as a result of the spam accounts created under female profiles. The Icebreaker free Gold for women's accounts is now gone to my knowledge. Leaving what women are left on here in the boat as us men in some cases. With the wall as many it, dictating only a couple free things left on here that work. Luckily those of us with large amounts of points accumulated over the years this doesn't really hinder our use of the site without needing to . However, the recent change to where now there is a wall to simply view or dismiss profile views is now there as is you can't even view your own profile now. Seriously?
this a vent post, but it is what it is. The wall has been getting more annoying over the years as has the crowd the site seems to hold onto these days. I venture to say with the path the site has continued down the past few years will only be hastened by little annoying wall blocks for simple site use and what I , "housekeeping." I seriously have to to do that now? Negative, that's absurd. Now roughly for 75% of the site, including what's considered BASIC functionality items on other sites. Now in order to operate. Free members can no longer do any of the following that were free. IMs, View PMs, View Cams, view your own profile, delete profile views, view 's viewed you, listed you, flirted with you, And a lot more I'm probably missing. It's a shame, the site was half way decent when I first joined, and how far it's fallen since then. Attendance is dwindling, most notably in chatrooms you notice it, the last real place for free members and paying members to really communicate with one another on here.
Sadly, that too has been overrun by trolls and what people refer to as many different kinds of room spammers. Likely too as to why less and less people are coming back and new people are leaving, annoyed and irritated. Or worse. So, I feel the end of the site or site's like this is near. Is it around the corner? Maybe, maybe not, but I think the line in the sand has been drawn. Site's like NoStrings's time is now numbered. The lessening attendance and the fact more pay walls are appearing I think also signal that as the owners try to milk what they can of the sites before they die or are completely overrun by trolls, spammers, or become predominantly a single sex.

As I arise back from the depths of busy college life, I give you...yes a rant.
I spend a lot of time in the chatrooms here. (if you don't I highly recommend it!) Aside from the normal antics of the room that I normally visit, there is a considerably lopsided amount of what we call "Gold Ballers" in the room and 97% are women. Upon an inquiry a number of months ago, I've found that women after filling out certain questionaires for NoStrings have received silver and gold balls. Essentially getting a free gold or silver membership for a year. That's great, but obviously men don't get the same kind of option. I know it's a lopsided number of men vs. women on this site, but it would be nice for there to be some kind of option here or there and not just a "discount" or "pay $2.95 to see this person's profile!" crap. Being that I'm just here socially i.e. chatting and blogging occasionally and not "in the hunt" like most others here, give the guys a break NoStrings and throw them a freaking bone...no pun intended.
and on another note, visit a chatroom and interact with people. (that doesn't mean come in post, "I'm naked on cam, etc." repetitively) lol.

Call this another ranting blog, but oh the woes of internet sites and trying to meet people. Not just here, but on other sites as well be it sites like here or regular dating sites. There's always that wall of actually meeting someone in person it seems like. Well to me it is anyway. Something ends up coming up or they meet someone else or those are the excuses anyway.
Or in my case I'm seriously not making excuses to get out of actually meeting someone. I actually get totally screwed by Murphy and his fucking law book. Just for example, there's this woman here that's messaged me a few times to meet and every time she messages me to meet, it would figure that I'm going through some pain in the ass issue that prevents me from meeting anybody let alone finish what I have to do that day or the next few days. I can count on both hands how many times this has happened to me. So Murphy move on to someone else, or I will find you, beat the crap out of you, burn your damn law book, and piss on it's ashes! LOL!

Isn't it terrible when you are in a very wonderful relationship and then an outside force outside both of your control forces the relationship to end? Well I've just had that happen. It seems like if I have any luck at all these days its bad lol. Oh well that's life as they say, right? I'm trying to keep myself occupied to keep that feeling of crapiness away especially during the holidays. I try and find little projects to do, connect with old friends, go places, it's all really one can do. I can't even count how many of these blogs or posts here and on other places I've seen about how people are so depressed around the holidays etc. Yeah I'll admit, mine probably wont be the best considering, but it's no reason to let things ruin your holidays. Spend time with friends and family keep your chin up. And remember... Hey, there's always next year.

Damn it! I know that every site has it's comings and goings of spam profiles and what not, but I swear it's like a plague here or something! 50 hotlists and probably only 10 of those are actually real women or couples. I had one the other day where I had 6 hotlists and 4 flirts in the matter of a minute. Fake profiles, fake flirts, and fake hotlists! Truly annoying the crap out of me lol. I'm sure everyone else is sick of it! I just felt like ranting about it just now.

My GF and I broke up about 6 months ago. We had a huge fight 2 months after and we said some things to each other and stopped being friends. Well last week we finally started talking a little again. We said our apologies and are basically friends again. We never talked about how bad she treated me when she left me, and as far as I was concerned it was all done and over with. It's the past. I forgave her and moved on. We talked about what we've been up to the last 6 months our dating woes since we broke up. She just started seeing someone else blah blah blah. Well last night we were talking on the phone and then out of the blue she basically poured her heart out saying how sorry she was and she feels so horrible, guilty, and hurt. She said she's been really emotional since we started talking again. The guy she left me for ended up treating her bad and then using her and then leaving her for his ex. Which I warned her about and that's why we had a huge fight. But I know her very very well since we were together for over a year, and I know she wants to get back with me. I kinda wish I could , but it's amazing when you think you might be over some one and have moved on they come back into your life and those feelings start to kind of come back. Even if you thought they were gone and you were so hurt you thought you'd never feel those things again. A lot of me misses her and what we had. She was the first long term relationship I had that lasted that long. We were so alike it was uncanny, we'd finish each other's sentences. Had the same opinions about things, we never fought, we liked the same things, talked about the same things, we were basically copies of each other. I think that's why it's so hard to kind of let that go. I think I kind of had that realization this morning. Evidently she feels the same way since she told me that stuff on the phone. I don't know it's just a lot to reflect on. Call this babbling, but. It's like, all the other relationships I've been in I've never felt the way I did with her. I know I'm young, but seriously if we had been together longer. I'm pretty sure we would have gotten married. I think that's another reason since we actually talked about it and our future together, , education, things like that. My mind just went in a thousand different directions today.

Weeks like this one remind me of why I'm on sites like this looking for people lol. It gets so hectic at times I hardly have any free time to do anything for myself. I'm sure a lot of people on here are like this. But hey, I have to say the time I spend here talking and meeting people its worth the wait sometimes.

Well I guess I'll get into the more serious type of posts now. It's actually been rather difficult to try and talk to people on sites like this. Sometimes I get a response, but even other places its the same tune. The saying goes, when your not looking for someone that person will find you. Well, I've never been the wait and see type of person. But now it's kind of discouraging that I'm wasting all this time and energy searching with pretty much nothing to show for it. It seriously is starting to wear down my happiness. Blah blah blah sob story right? I'm sure there's probably a million posts on here about the same thing. But what is it that most women on here look at when someone sends them a message aside from pictures? Maybe I need some tips? I mean I think I do okay, I mention things from profiles to make it clear I did actually read it, I'm polite, try to keep good grammar. But evidently that doesn't do anything.

Alright so I'm going off on a rant here, but I know how people say they have a case of the, "Mondays." Well I think I get rotten Tuesdays. Tuesday to me is the worst day of the week other than Monday. Since it's the 2nd day of the week, It's not the beginning, middle, or end. It's just Tuesday. Call me crazy, but I just hate Tuesdays. Thursday is fine because you know tomorrow is Friday so it's good! Day of the week rant aside, hopefully everyone has a great Friday! HAHA!

I'm relatively new to this site I was on here a LONG time ago. But I've come back just to see what's out there and branch out I guess. I'm active on another site that's like this, but the interaction is different and you can't really talk or find people in your area very easily. So...here I am. So a quick intro. I'm single and looking for some fun, but mostly a real long term relationship. I know, It's kind of a strange thing to be looking for on a site where it seems that everything is based on NSA, FWB, one nighters and things like that. But hey, I'm looking! I've had some luck talking with people, but I'm looking to mainly get to get to know local people. So, I guess we'll just have to see what goes on in that department.
