After being a member [if you can even call it that..]for a few months now and coming to this site twice a month I've realized how much of a waste of time this site is. Sure if you pay $$$ it has it's uses for many people, but you shouldn't have to pay just to be able to try to view details on someone, or to "wink" at them to show an interest. Sheesh Come'on, how many free sites or ways are there on the internet to actually talk or chat with someone for free?, or at least a way to contact them in a reasonable fashion.
Sure things can be abused, but people always have options like turning emails/info private.
With all the fake accounts out there as well, the bonus points don't really help... I used some of mine to email someone in hopes of perhaps just chatting and getting to know eachother better, but how do I know they were even a real person? No reply to my email, so I thought I'd try to send a wink with bonus points, as I saw her online in profile [Something I was actually able to see due to her name being in my hotlist], to maybe get her attention, or a response back... But bonus points can't even be used for winks... And how do I know she'd even be able to reply if she wasn't paying $$$, or knew about the bonus points [And the only way to see/use them[Mainpage]]
I agree $$$ should bring added benefits, but this site would be a lot more popular, and more people would be willing to pay $$$ in my opinion if they were seeing basic results, or having some contact with members. The chat rooms are ridiculous, as are most of the message boards from what I've browsed through.
True I've noticed there are some groups of people getting a lot out of this site, but the majority seems to be put off due to the missing casualness of the site. That's how I feel about it myself...
Perhaps my views will change. I'll update my Blog if/as my views change.
