I've realized lately that there can be a downside to having a regular fuck buddy, and that can be the desire for commitment.
In my example I made it clear at the outset that I did not want a relationship and she was fine with that, or so she said. I've begun to realize that she has started to form an attachment and this is something I don't want her to do partly because I don't want that but also because I don't want to hurt her.
I've tried the softly softly approach by subtly suggesting that she should have fun while she is holidays and not feel tied down to me but it has been taken the wrong way and she thinks I don't care.
I think either way the fuck buddy arrangement may have come to an end and I hope that it doesn't get messy.
