The good news of the day, England has a new Manager, I guess, he will be in charge soon enough, have to write to him and tell him I want my bins emptied more often, oh he is not managing England, just the football team, heck with all the fuss, I thought he was going to be in charge of everything.

And the Englishman in charge is......eh! an Italian, so if he was a player he could not play for England but can manage it, and there is not an Englishman good enough for the job, Wow, what a statement about our National Game.

A normal life

I am told I have a normal life, yet nobody has defined what is normal, surely, what is normal to me, is not normal to others.

Sure some people were up at four am, and maybe some of them on the M1 heading south at 5am, I know this because I saw them, some even stopped at Toddington Services for a morning cuppa and a pee. Some may have arrived in London at 7.20, been in the office for 7.30, paperwork done for ten, site visit 10.30, lunch at 1, meeting at two, journey home starts at 6 home for 9.30 bed for 1 up at four, repeat for three days.

We each defined normal in our own way and very often criticise or judge others choice of clothes, partners, sexually practice, but if we let each live there own life interface when we have something positive to say, slowly we can make living better. The other week I got into a rut, so many negative aspects were around me, but I decided and bloged on the fact I was going to ignore these things and it has worked. I look for the positive and work with it, and it feels good.

Christmas planning over = I am back

What a surreal period, but I am back on track and online again, as some of you are aware I have a club, and we have been busy with Christmas bookings, organising chefs, music and, well everything, flower arrangements for tables Etc Etc......the list goes on.

We had two companies involved in a bidding war for the same day, so far a local charity can expect £800, these guys are nuts, given our capacity, they could share the place, both one of the Directors for one of the companies I quote said "We might meet somebody we don't know" Wow, that really would stop the planet turning.

As for my engineering business, we are having our Christmas Party in the first week of February this year, a week later than last years one, but at the same hotel, all the rooms are booked, the entertainment and it is looking OK.

All I have to do now is sort out my Christmas, I have not brought a single present yet, but we still have two weeks nearly.

I am going say bye for now, to catch up on others blogs. Take care and best wishes.

I have spent the last two weeks working, even if I had a partner for sex, they nor I would have been getting it - it has been an incredible time, setting up not one but two new branches of my electrical business, and just to make it easier,oh yeah right! one is in Colchester, Essex (144.9 mile from home in one direction) and the other Lancaster, Lancashire (139.4 miles from home in the other direction. My mileage in just a couple of weeks is over six thousand miles, plus working the day, and doing paperwork at night has left so little time.

I am having a couple of days off this week and looking forward to catching up on the various blogs I watch.

In the meantime, take care.

Hi ya all,

Well, I got home at 0530hrs this morning, had a slow trip into London, traffic on the M1 was heavy, a great deal of roadworks especially around Jct 6 to 10 but even so that was fine.

At my office, my staff were chirpy enough, and it was nice to be among them. Talk was of and of Christmas, what they desire and what was on their spouses and offsprings lists.

Yesterday, because I wanted to float by unnoticed, and have no hassle, my mindset ignored any potential flareups. And lo and behold I had a peaceful and relaxing day.

I did some paperwork here, took the to school and finally, in about half a hour I am going to bed till three, when it is time to pick them up.

Take care and best wishes to everyone, have a good 'un

Negative No! Positive Yes!

I have met my fair share of negative people in the last week or so, and I have given time and thoughts over to them, my blog of yesterday, which I can still see no wrong in, was not accepted so I have to edit it, so we will see if it is published. It would so help if they told you which rule was broken.

Anyway, I am going to concentrate on the positive again.

I have been told a secret, last night information was past to me, so I could book a restaurant table for the announcement to be made, so I have booked that this morning.

I am soon going to drive to London, I have some work to catch up on in my office there, I love London, it gives a certain sense of freedom, I feel part of something whilst I am there, part of something great.

Anyway, I am signing off now, take care folks and have a good one.

Last week, there was an individual that needed a little bit of help, not anything major but for the sake of £40 a change could have happened that would have made a difference.

Although I do not know this person physically, I have never met them, never seen them, I have conversed with them on the internet.

The chances of us ever meeting are really very, very slim indeed so it was just a genuine offer, however, and bear in mind, I understand pride, and feelings of self-respect, not wanting charity, and it was not charity, it wasn't demeaning nor was it injurious to self-respect but I was not prepared for the reply.

I actually think I am naive, maybe I should change.

The reply was

"I am not a ********, you are a grotty old man, and £40 ain't going to get you into my knickers, I don't even want you reading about me, don't visit my blog even"

and she got a friend to email as well

"Leave her alone, she wasn't asking for money and all you could think of is buying yourself some cheap sex"

I did not mention meeting nor did I mention sex, all I offered was to pay a sum of £40 to keep her mobile.

It is certainly a strange world, and I really feel like I have been kicked in the teeth

Cars and parking, oh wow

Today, before lunch I popped out to see a friend, he and his wife moved on Friday. I arrived to find he had his car on the drive with her Dad's parked in front across his half of the shared drive, if I had parked behind him, I would of blocked the neighbour's drive so I parked in front.

Now imagine this street, about seven pairs of semi-detached houses, the houses have a garage then house connected to next doors house then their garage, a gap to get to the back garden then repeated with next doors garage, so you share the drive with the unconnected house. In front of each house is a garden, slightly wider than the house.

So I am parked in front of the connected neighbours house's garden not blocking his drive, yet he came out and said

"Listen here you homosexual gay little twat, move your fucking car before I smash every piece of fucking glass in it, before smashing your glasses in your goggle eyes, and ramming my dick down your throat"

Now, at a guess, I think he meant to say "Excuse me please, and I know you have a fully legal car, taxed and insured but I would appreciate it very much if you did not park there, because my wife is due home soon, and likes to park where she can see her car, or my friends are coming for dinner and it is easier if they can park there, she can't walk far, bad knee you know" then I would have moved it but no!

Lucky for us, he went out for the afternoon, so I was able to park there undisturbed, and when he went out about thirty, seriously, thirty at least of his neighbours were clapping. Why?

Oh, I forgot to mention, on the way over there, I picked up three of my mates friends from the rugby pitch where they were practicing as a favour to him so they could have a drink with him, I had never met them before, and their team is made up of only serving police officers, I don't usually take pleasure in seeing someone get in to trouble but hell it was funny seeing all those people clap as he got put in the back of that police van.

And with three policemen as witnesses, a Chief Superintendent, a Chief Inspector and a Detective Chief Inspector that help make up this rugby seniors team, with over fifty years police experience between them, I think the court will find him guilty.

I am so glad when I met my new neighbours, all I said was

"Hello and welcome, you will like living around here, it is full of nice people"

Today, here in the UK is the Annual BBC in Need Appeal, and the funds being raised are enormous. This event helps so many important schemes, so if any of you that have a £1 or a £1 million to spare, don't forget to give today.

Every little bit truly helps.

I make no excuse for this blog, it is a direct copy and paste of my reply on the blog of a wonderful french lady bouledeneige17

I was a part-time (retained) fire-fighter for just over ten years, and saw death on occasions, so a story such as this brings back memories, and it is so hard to be unaffected by them.

One day, we went to a car crash, the father was the driver and his two young were in the back, another car with a drunk driver had hit them head on, a ladder on top of the drunks car had flown forward and pierced the fathers chest. We went to work, trying against the clock, to release the father and the but he insisted the first, he stayed alert, and as if no pain, talking calmly to his , reassuring them that they would be alright, the drunk driver totally unhurt was walking around saying "all this crap is making me late" and as I write this now , some eight years on , my eyes still well up with tears.

After some forty minutes, both the boy and girl are free, the father says goodbye to them, their hands placed through the window for him to kiss, and they leave in ambulances, once the second one leaves, he cries out in pain, the trauma so great but before he gets to Hospital, he dies, his post-mortem reveals that he should of died instantly, his heart and lungs so badly damaged yet his love for his made him survive. Both survived and we has a crew attended their fathers funeral out of respect.

The drunk or as I would like him to be known, the murderer got jailed for two years and banned for driving for three, but somewhere there is a twelve year old boy and a fourteen year old girl, that lost a Dad, maybe their mum remarried I don’t know, but one heck of a special person with so much love was taken from this world that day.

I don’t question God, but the wrong man lived that day.

This is a reply I have put in a blog by phoenix4380 [post 1125451]

To be touched in an emotional, spiritual way by someone that has a positive affect on ones life is amazing, fortunately my generation was taught respect from our parents, we had people who had seen their parents fight a war, in the UK case for King and Country, and for the so-called greater good, they saw horrors which they did not wish on their so tried to make the world a better place. Our parent upheld these values, but we allow our even greater freedoms, I have seen and recoiled in shock at a four year old playing a computer game with sex and violence in that caused it to be rated 18.

The greatest give we can give our is love, guidance, support and time. That PC, PS3, x-Box or TV is not a baby sitter, used right the PC can give knowledge as can the TV, I am not saying they are wrong but a needs support and above all, a childhood, a time of innocence.

I think as parents we need to value our 's childhood more. The BBC in Need show on Friday will show how some are totally robbed of their childhood
