My passions are & animals!!!!!!
I've owned a corvette in my life! I still love them, because my parents brought me home in one in 1966!
I love daiquiri ice-ice cream from Baskins-Robbins.
I've failed at many things, but I've also had successes at more:
marriage-2x-failures; Life skills, teaching, writing, and social skills are a success!
I love antiques-(even men), but I love the search for "treasures"! I enjoy auctions, estate sales, garage sales, thrift stores, and the hunt for the next great "find".
My preference in men is "tall & hairy chests"!
I'm an only , so I don't share well. However, I'm very giving and caring! I clipped coupons in High School. I never had my own car until I was an adult.
I love "erotic" massages, being tickled, hot baths, jacuzzis, McDonald's french fries, and Boone's Farm wine.
I'd do anything to protect a or an animal!!!!!!
I love romance-flowers, cards, e-mails, communication!
Those late night talks in the tub and the early morning coffee is just a treasure.
My family is the most important thing to me, but I know my friends are a my "angels without wings!" They guide me, and they stand by me and show up in times of need.
My best-friend has been around since first grade. Imagine That!
Two of my favorite songs are "Who Am I" by Sara Evans, and "Landslide" by Stevie Nicks.
The song by Sara Evans is about her grandmother, father, and mother. My Grannie died in 1979(I was 13), my dad died in 2000 at the age of 55, and MOM is my hero & biggest fan.
I love horror fiction.
My favorite movies are: Hope Floats, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas(love Dolly), Must Love Dogs, The Owl and Pussycat(a great older movie).
I'm a christian, just don't grace the doors like I should these days.
I love to cook for family and friends. I cook or over-cook the amount needed, because I grew up in big families.
I have way too many shoes. Call me Imelda Marcose-more in the hundreds!!!!
I love gazing in to the night sky-wondering what is out there! I love identifying the stars and the planets.
My 3 dogs are the best companions a women could ask for without the prescence of a man. However, they are more "faithful" than what I've ever had in my life.
My favorite color is orange-it makes me "happy"! However, I do like the yellow of sunflowers,daises,and tulipds. They grow tall and relish in the sun.
I admire anyone in the military or has ever served!
My favorite foods are: mexican food(All), hot/sour soup, fried chickenw/ jalapeno peppers, vegetable soup(mine), Sonic cherry-limeade, white russians, jack and diet coke, fried mushrooms, hot wings, and potato skins. I guess "I love food & drink!"
The smell of Christmas-like evergreen, is a sense I love.
I love to decorate for the holidays-especially, Christmas. Christmas is my favorite holiday.
I always say, "I was born and breed in MO!" Columbia to be exact!
I went to Mizzou, and I'll never change my allegiance.
My favorite "Aunt Eve" passed away a year ago. I miss her dearly.
I'm a packrat!!!!!!!
I collect many things-especially old books! and too many to name!
I love games of challenge: card games, rummy, gin rummy, board games, poker, liars poker, craps, you name it-I probably like it!
I love the challenge of Wheel of Fortune(with mom)and Reader's Digest Word Power.
I'm a Capricorn. Read it-Strong, Independent, Determined etc!

To All the Military Men and Women!

I watched a video today from msnbc. The video made me cry, and think about those families who have lost loved ones. I want to say to ALL military people "You are my heroes!" I think we forget about those who have served "Our" country & those who are still serving "Our" country. This viewing happened after I arrived to work. I was able to to stop at McD's and go to work for my students without the threat of road-side bombs, etc. It was on my mind all day. Oh, dear heavenly father, how lucky I am to live in the USA. I just want to say "Thank You" for what you've done and are doing to this day for "OUR" country. I ask that if you view this blog, then please send a note to our men and women who serve/and have served "OUR" country.
