At least, that's what it feels like.

Is anyone else here having trouble reading magazine articles? I can't get off the first page of a section, and a search on any of my favorite authors results in a familiar looking page, only there's no text in the story.

Tech support gave me a whole shopping list of things to do on my end, indicating whatever is wrong is pilot error on my end.

Of course, none of their suggestions fixed the issue. It was escalated to the programmers but it seems like it's stopped there.

Is anyone else having issues reading things on the site?

Which Kiss is the Best Kiss?

One of my favorite bloggers up here, Misskissin, had an interesting post recently [post 4116909] questioning which kiss is the best. I answered her, and after rereading my answer, thought I'd steal it from myself and repost it here.

"I like the second kiss, after that first, tentative, “Will she like this?” Kiss where her eyes dart back and forth as she tries to decide which eye to look into, both of us wondering if there’ll be a second kiss. Then it happens - strong, passionate, our mouths open wide and our tongues dance together in mock intercourse, hot breath on our cheeks, hands roaming until she pulls away.

She looks into my eyes and says, “I thought I had been kissed before, but you…you.…” and she presses her mouth to mine again.

Yes, that second kiss. The most memorable kiss of all! ??"

Which kiss is YOUR favorite?

I’m on another hook-up site elsewhere, some of you are probably on the same site which shall remain nameless, although you would probably recognize her initials. Anyway, the site operates a little differently from this one, instead of a membership with a drop-dead date where you just get cut off, the other one forces you to buy credits. It costs X credits to write a contact letter to someone, and the credits don’t expire. That way, if you don’t see anyone who trips your trigger for a long time, you’re still able to contact someone who does even a year later.

We all know the games this place plays to separate you from your money, and the other place plays a similar game. A couple of times a week, I get an email from the site that says I’ve gotten a message! Yay! At least, yay is what I thought the first two times.

I click on the link to my inbox and there is a “message” from some woman who doesn’t match my search criteria at all, isn’t in my age range and might even live three states over. Sometimes, the message is from some hot babe who lives in a little town north of Milwaukee with a population of about 125. Amazing - there are at least 30 hot babes that have sent me “messages” and they all live in that little town of 125. Uh-huh. Sure.

Anyway, about the influx of messages that lately have been from, as near as I can tell, legitimate members. The “messages” are all the same - “Hotchickie27 has some secret desires, why not contact her and find out what they are?” Or “Hornybabe39765 has expressed interest in meeting someone just like you! Why not send her a note?”

Why? Because she’s 33 and likely not interested in an old fart. How do I know this? All I have to do is click on the link that says, “Who has viewed you” and read the dreaded “No one has looked at your profile in the last 72 hours.” Gosh, what a shock.

They also, unlike this cheap$hit place, let you send flirts. They also send the person a flirt if you add them to your hot list. The usual response I get is “I don’t have time to answer flirts, if you’re really interested, send me a real message.” Of course, they’ve never looked at my profile so why would I bother to waste credits on someone that rude?

Not to mention, that rude message is a canned response brought to you by the website, trying to con me out of using up all my credits and buying more.

Oh, one nice thing about this site, anyone can contact a blogger. That’s nice, except 75% of the members here don’t even know there’s a blogging area and a magazine area. But I write for both places, anyway.

At least this site, and the other one, have real people on them, as opposed to the real rip-off site that makes suggestions using an “Online Cupid” that matches you up with non-extant people. Gimme a break.

What a racket these webmasters have. Why didn’t I think of setting up a rip-off hook-up site like these?

Have you ever met someone for the first time but when you saw them, or your eyes met, that lightning bolt of recognition goes right through you because you swear you know them? It happens to me now and again, although sometimes, the other person doesn't get the feeling.

I have one dear friend I actually met online a few years ago. Something made me contact her, and something made her reply. We seemed to have little in common, but we both felt that draw and answered it. The first time we met, that lightning bolt went through both of us. Neither of us know why nor have we figured it out. A previous life, I suppose.

There are two things that keep us apart as a couple, distance and other relationships. (For example, her don't really like me and I've never met any of them.) Still, we keep in constant contact. We tell each other things we would never share with anyone else.

We agree, it's too bad we didn't meet in a different time and different place. Well, we both feel like we actually did but I mean in this lifetime.

Do you have a friend like that?

Why are browsers suddenly deciding what photos I can or cannot see?

Half the photos in pash ion started disappearing today with a grey curtain and the phrase "NAUGHTY PHOTO" or "NAUGHTY VIDEO" covering it up.

Anyone know when this crap started and if there's any way around it?

Snow is like sex:

You never know when you're going to get it.

You never know how deep it will get.

You have no idea how long it will last.
