Let's make it less awkward

If you have read my status you know I am currently taking a break from playing while I get my seasonal testing done. I don't play for at least a week before my appointment until my results get back. so about a 2 3-week hiatus from sex with anyone other than hubby. By getting check routinely, I am able keep track of my partners in case something were show . And I hope that by talking/writing about it, I can make it less of a topic that is talked about in hushed tones.
I am pretty picky about who I have sex with but sometimes things can happen. Being poly, the need to get tested regularly is even more important. If hubby's gf, who gets tested at a different time, come back with something, Hubby and I get checked. No questions asked, no anger or hard feelings. It comes with the territory of our lifestyle. It is not a bad thing to get tested. It is being a decent human. And if you get tested on a schedule, as I do, it doesn't mean you have something, just that on the chance you do, you don't share it and it can be taken care of in a timely manner.
