Just a week ago I received notice that a guy and his wife wanted me to service her because she liked my cock. Making a long story short... he wanted to suck me off and the wife was no part of it at all. Talk about lunch bag let down. Fake as fuck.

    Quoting  :

This is the inter/web/nets the anonymity allows for "fakes" however . . . a lot of guys get rejected which becomes frustration and disappointment and the whines of fake fake fake.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I don't know about the fakes but most of the scammers flirt with you and only have one picture. They want to contact by email. Who does that anymore.
Thare are a lot of old profiles on here that have not been active for years.
Since they took away last vist last online information we do not have a clue if they are active or not. I suspect up to 80 90 percent of profiles were not active in the last year.

For me, a "fake" profile is one that is created by the site to artificially increase numbers. Most of those are female and aimed at men so it looks like women are looking, flirting, hot listing, etc. and the guy will then buy a membership.

What someone else might call fake - I call a scammer or a liar. There are LOTS of those.

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Profile filled with 'unrealistic/elaborate' details, claims and/or demands.

Claims or demands, perhaps in the eye of the beholder, but not unrealistic/elaborate details . This can be an exception of a normal person's profile. Some men and women who have been here for a while also have elaborate detailed info in their profiles. They feel that by being very specific in what and whom they're seeking on the site will reduce the number of incompatible matches and unwanted emails. What one person might list as a preference may seem "unrealistic" to some; again, all in the eye of the beholder.

Another example: some people who list themselves as "single" may actually have someone who doesn't know that their partner is looking here. "Single" to some may mean "not married" (or even "separated"), as opposed to "unattached". There's a fine line between, if you're really going to cut threads, as everyone will have different definitions.

Trust your instincts, but keep your guard up. When in doubt, ask for clarification. If it sounds "too good to be true", chances are that it is.

Are fakes all around? Yes, and some are really good at disguising themselves. But there also are good and true people on here who might be just a bit paranoid, because they have been scammed one too many times in the past. Sometimes it take a little patience and investigative work to find the real ones.

This complaint never seems to end.It is
really starting to sound a lot like the one
waged by guys about never getting responses.

Due diligence is the key!

Like someone said, the "God fearing, looking for the love of my life" mantra is a common giveaway for the predatory scammer

And of course, this being the internet, something too good to be true is usually such

Cheers my lady

To me, fake profiles are ones which are designed to trick, scam or defraud other users.
Usually they are profiles operated by men in the third world (e.g. Nigeria, Ivory Coast). Typically, they are lining up some sort of sting, to send them money so that they can supposedly travel to meet you, or to obtain their supposed inheritance, or get them out of a country where their business trip has gone wrong, i.e. all the usual scams.
One way to spot fake profiles is to run a Google Image Search on the profile pictures, see my blog post "Fake or Fraudulent profiles". It's amusing to find the real owners of the photos! A couple of the people whom I've caught out that way then went on to claim to be the pornstar concerned, now reformed!
Happy fraud hunting, and Good luck,
AngloSwiss_ch

There are many reasons to create a fake profile, not only scams or frauds, some people are just starving for atenttion but at the same time have a very low self steem

Over the years that i have been on NoStrings (cancelled and returned) i have had my share of fakes and scams pulled on me. After chatting for days and picture exchange we set up to meet at peet's coffee, well i sat for 1 hour waiting for her to show up but she never made it. This has happened many times. Now i have met a few that worked out so i can say their are REAL profiles here but you still need to be leery of some profiles.. I'm just saying.
