From across the room... part 1

I had always been the good , the that followed all the rules. Tonight was different it was the night that changed my whole world and opened my eyes to what could be.

I sat at the bar waiting for my co-worker to stop flirting at the bar so we could head back to the room, it was our usual thing me waiting for her to close the deal while I sat at the bar waiting for her to head back to the room.

It was a nightly ritual it seemed, I always felt like I needed to make sure she made it to her room safely even though we always had our own room. I was the mother figure of this friendship and always had to be the cautious of the .

I was just about done with her flirting when I caught they eye of a stranger across the bar, he had the bluest eyes I had ever seen. It looked like the deepest sapphire I had ever seen. His gaze never left mine I kept looking over my should waiting for the gorgeous woman he must be staring at appear. He was the most gorgeous man I had ever seen in person.
