unintentional scam baiting

After a long hiatus from 419eater.com I found myself returning to the website today, after realizing I'm unintentionally acting as a scam baiter. Because I'm a lonely man who responds to messages. Today was marked by a reveal by a user that they suddenly had to travel to Nigeria, you know, for business purposes. I made it clear I wasn't playing, however I had wasted a bit of their time.

However, engaging with scammers is unwise. I'm no professional scam baiter. I am paranoid about sending any pics or personal info to anyone, because of past experiences with scammers. I generally insist on something akin to a standard coffee date before leaping.

If it seems like I'm taking a lot of time to get to know you on this site before moving the conversation to some other format, it's because of this.

This site is crawling with the scammers anymore.

Seems anyone who contacts you anymore, wants to leave the site, and they send an e-mail address or a phone number.

Which is the quickest way to lose your off site information to these fucking assholes.

Am never married, am got no kids and so on and so forth.
