Intelligent Conversation
When was the last time you sat down with a person of the opposite sex and had a truly intelligent conversation? I suppose it's akin to finding someone who still reads books, turn the page paper variety, today. I haven't been on A.FF all that long but there doesn't seem to be much in the way of conversation here. A natural product of the electronic communication age? I have a tumblr account. (lothlorienlover) I have met a few people online there who occasionally write to me extensively. I don't think the format is all that different other than that there variety is much greater.

Has anyone had any good, extended conversations here? Or met and then had good conversations? Or is this simply a wambam sort of hook up place.

 I'm not sure if you who have responded to my post will automatically be alerted to my comment. First, thank you all for commenting. Have any of you read what nostalgic68 wrote in his blog page, "In Pursuit of IT?" I'd just like to know what your thoughts are on what he has written. Really quite profound if you ask me. Perhaps I'm reading too much of myself into it.
