    You'll see St. Joseph's Oratory - Canada's largest church which also has one of the largest domes, in the world. hovering on the mountainside.

Is that near Mont Royal - seems to me it was all the same place. I visited two great aunts that were nuns there. They were both about 4 feet high, didnt speak any English but they were both loads of fun.

Both the highway and the lake pic show a glimpse of Mount Royal in the background. At the lake (Lac-Saint-Louis) ... I'm about twenty miles from that Oratory, when I took the shot.
Nuns? I know / knew a few and they were full of vim and vigour.

 It's always embarrassing when my black Lab/Bernese Mountain Dog decides to give some random person a sniff. Can spark a conversation or leave us feeling forever scorned
Sitting by the water is tranquil and mesmerizing and evokes memories of happier times at my parent's cottage.
