random thoughts n my opinion

I know so many of you think my blogs are about someone who was banned here, an make comments " move on tired of hearing about it"etc etc etc.... so in thinking they know what a blog is about they dont get the point or meaning of it at all....My blogs of late have been about whats going on here SINCE a few have been banned. Some broke rules that NoStrings has for all to follow, so NoStrings chose to ban those people . Some who write about it now call themselves "WE" ... an a good chance did nothing more than copy something in a blog (that they were told to , by others) an send in a complaint, to bolster the number of complaints to NoStrings. So in my opinion from things i have read here, an learned, about the face book group, which is by invitation only ( oh an that others say doesnt exist) there is a group who thinks they decide who is good here an who isnt, an cant be targeted to cause them problems.
When they write things here as " taking out the trash" an about biting dust, it only shows they want to remind us other folks who write here to not cross them....not to say something about someone or something they dont like... or they will take out the trash.... so does that mean that bloggers who are not in a group ( that they wont admit exists) are trash an can be taken out when they decide its time???? So be careful in what you say here an who you may say something about , or contents of your replys, as you can be their next trash.

if i am trash... this is my trashy opinion an we all can have a opinion.

I love imaginary people- they make life so very interesting and so so some of the blogs; we groupies need to stick together - safety in numbers

(Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

sounds like a good idea, long as the group isnt interested in running things the way they want it only... blogs were never intended to be run by just a certain few..

you are correct in your assumptions

txslowpoke replies on 9/28/2016 4:06 pm:
thanks for your reply... always feel free to express any of your opinions or other examples of things you see or know here... the ones that are not invited into the off site group that try an make decisions of who is good an who is bad, all need to know whats going on to be safe

You're an American with free speech that from the street corner to the bowels of NoStrings blogs cannot be stopped.

if certain ones here dont like you... they will find a way to stop you... an take out some more trash as they put it.

I respectfully disagree, TX.. Such posts may, in fact, be interpreted as a form of intimidation but that is only one interpretation. And unless you've asked the author his or her intention, your take relies on a great deal of speculation.

My guess is that those blogs are simply informational. The blogger is often committed to a cause, say respect or tolerance, and the post recaps recent events pertaining to those issues and their resolution. Importantly, such members believe they are working in the best interest of the entire community and want people to know that they remain vigilant.

thanks for your take.... but i am sorry you missed part of the blog meaning an point... but you are rite...there are some working here, an not in the way you would like to believe... but your take on things are always welcome

if its in our best interest... why do they have a group that is invite only, an then deny it even exist????????????????????

Why do they blog about something that happened weeks ago, an talk about when things calm down, move on they are tired of hearing about it etc etc etc... an it wasnt THEIR RESOLUTION ... the resolution came from NoStrings... Could it have been to make us aware they have picked more trash an have power thru their group to try an make problems for anyone they decide is that????????

Honestly, TX, I think the best way to understand their intentions is to ask them directly.

You're correct. These resolutions were made by A F F .Did someone explicitly claim otherwise? I'd be very interested in seeing that quote.

I really do understand your concern about "how things work" around here but I'm pretty sure you can write about anything you want.

@ author51 and CountessMeville

Thanks for sharing. I'm not a blogger, just a "commenter," and have limited exposure to some of the back channel goings on.

But I definitely agree that the lines get blurred. I'm sure there are reasons why people do what they do but, to the casual observer, it's often difficult to distinguish good from bad.

Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have.

    Quoting  :

I was part of that FBook A*F*F Refuge Group back in February or so. But the group included 1 or 2 bloggers who were also involved in blog drama(s) with people on A*F*F. The group didn’t agree that people who participate in the blog drama(s)/war(s) had no place in a refuge. So I left along with several others.

None of the sides in blog drama(s)/war(s) are right IMO. Those who start it are often/usually wrong in some way. Those who respond to it have no rational in needing to respond because no one is really hurt by the opinion of a complete stranger. I’ve never seen death by words or opinions on a tombstone. And the people who actually respond or write blogs are less than 5% of the site’s active members. There is no physical threat from anyone’s opinion posted here. And, the people who jump on the various sides only prolong the war(s) and are as wrong as either side.

So in the end all that is left collateral damage: Damage to “online friendships”, questions about the participant’s integrity, and less bloggers in the community. The fewer bloggers there are the less diversity and interaction there is. As in nature, a lack of diversity tends to doom a species. The dividing of the community is somewhat ironic in that the blogs and the site(s) are designed to bring people together.

Unfortunately, the drama doesn’t seem to be as over as some might think.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

i agree with all you say... an its sad that something as simple as BLOGS has people that think they have to control them.... an the ones who want control arent even active bloggers.... I have heard you were a supporter of SSD, an i liked her for awhile till things in my opinion went off deep end, an i wouldnt do things she wanted...but when she was blocked , others picked up that same sword an ran with it thinking they could decide who was good who was bad, ;... many things are going on that others dont see or know about.. so i just bring them out in the open... Thank for yur repy here an feel free to anytime

To be clear on a couple points.
the ones who want control arent even active bloggers. The ones I am aware of are active bloggers.
I have heard you were a supporter of SSD. Up until I left for a while in May I would read some of her posts and when she was going to leave back when I first started blogging I suggested she stay. I didn’t see the petition post so I don’t know exactly what was said. I can’t say I support or don’t support it and I won’t base my final opinion on it without seeing it for myself. Thing is no one seems to have a screen shot of the post, which is a very easy thing to do. Also, at one point she blocked me but later unblocked me, don’t recall why for either action. People can block etc its up to them, I don’t take it as personally as some others do – because around here 90% of the people have no real idea who the other bloggers really are.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

i understand what your saying... but i dont think a few replys here an there to others blogs make them a active blogger.,,, but to each thier own... its just stupid how something as simple as BLOGS are really in our lives , that some feel they have to have power over it or even in them.... how pathetic of a life do you need to feel you have to be a leader or have power over others in a blogland on a sex site???????????????????????? REALLY???? is that all they live for???
