I've yet to see my sister's recent St. Bernard puppy she adopted recently. I'm still in two minds whether to get another rescue dog next year.

Awww....you'll have to take pics so we can see! Hope he and Tilly cat get along well. I'd say a new home is a pretty good Christmas present for Blu! Pagan  Hmmmm....I know I left that wand around here somewhere!

Congratulations!! All dogs want is unconditional love, and they give it back. I'm glad your daughter fell in love with him too. What kind of dog is he? Whever I go to a rescue centre to look for a pet cat, I always gravitate towards the longest-serving unwanted cats despite my intention to get a cute kitten. Once there was a cat who had been at the rescue centre a very long time. Her card read that she hates me. Thinking I was a cat whisperer, I asked a staff member if I could handle the cat. And yes, I can vouch she hated all men!

So, how are he and Tilly(?) the devil kitten getting along? Make sure to keep him supervised when he is outside, I would not want you to have to clean him up after he introduces himself to a skunk. Merry Christmas.

We adopted two kittens from my friend rescue they where brother and sister. We first just wanted the orange boy but the calico girl was beautiful. They had a very good long life with us. The orange boy was more like a dog love all our dogs the girl was shy once the orange cat past away she came out of the closet and was like a different cat. She love till 14 she was a sweetheart

Interesting, because I have a new girl in my life. I came home from work the other day to see a different dog in my house. my first thought was that my roommate had friends over with their dog. Next morning the dog was still there. I ask my roommate about her, and she said she didn't like the way her owner was treating her, chained up outside with just a blanket to lay on, it was getting cold. She never paid attention to her, so she brought her home. Well crap, I really didn't need another dog besides my roommates, but she came over to me and laid her head on my lap and gave me that puppy dog look and now I have a dog. She's happy to see me when I get home and cuddles up in bed at night. Although my cats are not impressed, but they're getting use to her.

I am so proud of you taking him in ! Just happy that his soul connected with you making you feel that you couldn't just leave him there. Now for him to get used to you two and you two to get used to him. Anyway, congrats on the new adoption !!... enjoy 𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕜𝕤 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕓𝕖𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕪𝕠𝕦

His name is Blu, he's nine years old, and he likes long walks on the leash. I had popped onto the animal control site to look at the kitties, the Spawn has been bugging me to get another kitty, when I saw this guy. And I just couldn't leave him there. They had picked him up as a stray, along with another, and the two of them had been microchipped but the information had been deleted from the chips. They were likely from the same home. The other pupper was much younger and easily got adopted. Poor Blue had been there for a while, waiting for me to come along. "Well, what do you think?" I turned to the Spawn who had been kind of just standing there, silent, while the animal control officer put on her best sales face and tried to sell us this lovable chunk. You could see she was giving it her all. "I can see you aren't really digging him, it's ok to say so, you don't have to feel guilty. There is someone else who has expressed an interest in him, it'll be ok." I was about ready to say, 'show me some kitties' when she piped up. "I love him." I looked at the officer, she looked at me, and we both turned and looked at the Spawn. "Ok then, I think we're heading home with a new family member." The next half hour was a flurry of fitting for collars and finding cute leashes, dog beds and blankets, and in-depth conversations about which toys were his favorites. For the small adoption fee of $45, I went home with Blu, his collar, a $25 hands free runner's leash, a $35 dog pillow bed, a $10 fleece blanket, a brand new tube of Penn tennis balls, and his 2 favorite toys... Not going to lie, this pupper is already spoiled. Happy Saturday!
