 Once found a 3 day old pizza box stuffed under the bed as I was trying to find my shoes. Yuck.

 My prize for the worst motel room goes to the one in PA with insects in the bed. Not just bed bugs but actual other, bigger bugs! It's held that honor for over 40 years.
Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

thanks for sharing this motel no tell story

I used to travel alot so I have all kinds of tales to tell

however, I'll share this one

years ago, I had a business trip in Mexico city

as always I booked a flight a day in advance

AA had multiple daily flights from DFW to Mexico city

and, I would book the third six o'clock flight, just in case there were weather problems or other kinds of delays (two more later flights were available)

on that day, my flight was delayed by four hours and the next two flights were cancelled

when I arrived in Mexico city it was after midnight

I get to the Sheraton and, I have no room

although, I had booked a room, and had it confirmed two weeks earlier

needless to say, I was pissed, but, there were no more rooms to be had

the manager got me a meeting room to sleep in

in the morning I was able to transfer to an AA flight personnel room with a shower so that I could prepare for my morning meeting

all kinds of stuff can happen when deman exceeds quantity and everybody is at #1 priority for customer satisfaction

I have other stories

but, this is the one that made it

and, I'll leave you with this one
