Christmas Music
Christmas Music Today on the Atlantic City boardwalk by Caesars Casino I struck up a conversation with a from Washington, DC. I mentioned on how I lived just outside of DC for 27 years in Northern VA (Fairfax County). I explained why this was my favorite place I ever lived except for the traffic. Loving History, The DC area has so much to offer. We started talking about the Christmas holiday, and that's when I mentioned my favorite Christmas song is "Christmas Eve In Washington" by Maura Sullivan. The song was never a big . But the song has so much meaning me. I'm sure we all have our favorite holiday song... What's yours? ~Holly ~Holly Atlantic City, NJ |

Hi Holly, we live close enough to DC to have been there many times and always thought the thing with the White House Christmas tree was a very very classy tradition, thanks for the pix and reminder that many things are still right in this world

to answer your other question, naming ONE favorite song of Christmas would be impossible, so here are a few of many i am fond of in no particular order Les Cloches Du Hameau - Celine Dion There's a New Kid in Town - The Oak Ridge Boys What Child is This? - Mahalia Jackson Must Be Santa - Mitch Miller & His Orchestra Hark! The Herald Angels Sing - Julie Andrews Peace on Earth/The Little Drummer Boy - Bing Crosby & David Bowie (there is a DVD called A Bing Crosby Christmas that has this song when it was performed on TV before Bing passed away ... if you are not moved by seeing that, you have no soul ... lol)
