I feel your pain and frustration. But, for a male standard members this has always been the norm. We are still not allowed to view profiles from B.F.E. even with the update. We were never allowed to view local either, With the ratio of men to women on the site, certain "perks"are given to the ladies over the men in this regard. It seems as though the perks have now been taken back. Have a good one if you can my friend...

Standard member have lots of set backs it way they want you to pay. Since I've been on more and more things go away Can't even I'm on here seven if you donate points To watch broadcasting they let you watch took away chatting. As for profile I have to hot list a person only to find out we have no chance of getting together. Waiting for blogs to start changing then it's the end f

Work to well for free. Bottom line. Lol even paying sucks. Paid not payed. Bunch of men trying to get sex pics. Mostly. A few cool men women , couples here.

they have done some stupid things over the years, restricting profiles, taking away free chat fundions by limiting how many free chats you can have, making you waste points on those who will never answer, and those damn ambassador messages that you have to hotlist the person just so you can message them, but the biggest complaint is the growing number of fake profiles and those damn camgirl viewing that take up who is there space

Total truth - this site is pretty much a useless pile of crap. When my paid membership expires, you can believe that I will never waste another cent here!

Actually, Joy, that's a damned fine profile. This site (from my perspective at least) has been a virtual dead loss for meeting people (two only). It may be that it is not that popular where I live, but if I relied on it for sex, I'd have to become a monk (and fake the religion) - I'm not a monk  It is worth it for some convos in chat (IM is a dead loss) and for reading a few interesting blogs. I suppose it all depends on what you are looking for. It might yet prove to be a valuable tool for my planned bonking world tour, but the jury is still out on that!

I agree with you. Being a standard member almost isn't worth it. However, once all the COVID restrictions go away, I'll be happy to cross the border!!

I'm guessing the fact that it's allowing you to view any profiles, albeit outside of your 'cupid' preferences, is that it's NoStrings's way of making it at least seem like they have some value as a site. It's their way of making themselves not look completely worthless. As a drummer myself, I will make this comparison: You have your eye on a Yamaha Recording Custom set, cherry red, in all the sizes you want and hardware included. Someone knows you have your heart set on that particular make, model and configuration, but cannot or will not help you get your sticks on it. Instead, they offer you an entry level GigMaker in a smaller set up, drums only, as a way of at least offering a drum set. "See, it's better than nothing!" Don't get me started on 'NoStrings distance.' 26 miles away? Great! Oh...fastest route is still actually 51 miles. Damn me for not having wings.

This site is running a strange program. And I am being nice by using the word strange. You know what ever happened to standard member privileges? I thought if one was popular they would get all these extras. It also seems as if this site slows traffic to a members profile so they cannot excess those Popular member privileges. And like you mention gives access to profile to people you eight time out of ten will never meet. This site is WOW!
