Exhibit My Pent Up Zeal A Poem Playing it cool It is a hard thing For to do. I just want to Jump for joy And shout From the rooftops All about how I feel about you. I want to yell From the top of my lungs. Then I want to whisper For those who can't stand My exuberance. You know those folks tell you There is no To be so loud. I thinking of my sister. And her penchant. What I want to say If I admit This to the world Will I be jinxing it? I wonder if Can happen My heartfelt emotion Seen as too ecstatic. And needs to be nixed For how can I be granted My fondest wish? What makes special In the grand scheme of things? I think I will sleep And there I will say What in real life I hesitant to. Those emotional words mean the world Is right and true Would awake My voice gets it's cue The scenes in my dreams. Made real. I get to exhibit pent zeal!
