Good advice Although I find sometimes a simple "Sorry but I'm not interested" reply can be polite to us "gentlemen" instead of the cold shoulder. You know...just common courtesy from a lady. But hey, who am I to preach on how a lady should act.

I have been here a very long time............and over the years. the men here have changed from polite intelligent men. to terrible horrid filty pigs.. but I think its the fault of A.F.F. they push the site as a sex site. they push men into thinking join this site and you will get laid tonight. which is 100% false...I'm sure if it was possible to check. the amount of women members on this site has declined 10 fold over the years. for that reason.the men just arent "men" anymore.. they are pigs. silky...

I agree with whats said but a fair amount of women have been rude too, so respect is a two way street, its not just a male problem

I have no doubt there are a lot of rude men here. Probably even more than you'd find in the real world, because the anonymity makes them bolder. But i don't think it's asking too much for a woman to send a quick "thanks, but no...sorry." to men who approach them with respect. You'd do that much to a man who approached you IRL, wouldn't you? Hey...I know I'm ugly. I've been shot down more times in my life than I can remember. I can handle rejection. Do me the courtesy of treating me like a person and have the guts to say you're not interested.

I personally am as polite and courteous to all people with whom I communicate. I don't believe the way which some men communicate on the site is the only issue. I am sure having a dick pic for a profile photo isn't helping any man connect with another member. Another reason the vast majority of men are ignored is the simple fact there are many more men on the site than women. Women can be as selective as they choose.

I always open with" Hello" or maybe "nice pic" if they have a pic posted but I seldom get a reply. So I cant tell if my IM is working or I'm just being ignored
