She that in a dream did come... with smiles and love... as if she'd never been away as if there'd been no rift.

In a dream she came and walked with me
And once again I felt the truth

Though then I was gone
Again in dreamlike haze
With other phantoms not yet beyond the grave.

I left her in the dream and sped
Fast by a jetty I snatched at fishing lines
The speed boat rocking at my joy
I laughed and once more felt the boy.

I walked the dreamtime searching
Happiness ablaze
And returning to the tavern…

She had gone.

And I awoke.
