National Mutt day!
One of my favorite days. I am a "guy" And do affectionately refer to them as mutts. I am not trying to down play cats, but how can you beat having a mutt as a friend? I have always had a mutt or two, or three in my life. I have never considered my self as a "Dad" to them , as some do. But they are a delight and deserve affection and care. I tend towards large breeds, my current ones are a Bull Mastiff and a Pyrenees. Are you a "person"? Do you have a dog? What would be you breed of choice?

 I love dogs and I love cats. I've had both, separately and together. I currently have neither.
I prefer big dogs over small but in my deepest heart, I'm a cat person.
Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

 Love all animals especially dogs. Lost our Akita last year after 14 years of love. We rescued two dogs (at different times) a 1/2 pit 1/2 chocolate lab male and a 1/2 Pit and 1/2 German Shepherd female! Great dogs and love them both.

 I used to have a Lhasa Apso, named Sir Alexander, he was registered and he was my baby. He was so spoiled and I let our inlaws stays with us and they just was so mean to our baby. I went to get him off the couch as he was eating on it and he knew it wasn't allowed and when I went to grab him he bit me it was horrible the Dr. said I had to have him put to sleep because he will bite again. I was so devastated and he was only a month away from becoming a breeder for other Lhasa's. I will never ever own another dog again, he looked just like this one..may he RIP..

 I love to have a dog again but we are away too much. Shy I have cats. I like the small ones the best hugs V
