Reading into the words

When I read this my first thoughts were of criminal activity.
I think we all associate ‘dark side’ with sicko and deviant behavior.

But is it really?

I associate it with secret sex.

We all have sexual ideas and fantasies, kinks and interests that are imbedded in our minds. They’re activities that peak our interest and desire us to examine and explore it much further. But they’re secrets we would never share with anyone out of fear.

Ridicule and embarrassment are is confining and a restricting deterrent.

If these words were only that easy.

It's finding those people you just *know* you can trust to care for you even when you expose your dark side to them. That's the most difficult part, because in our own minds we may think that our black parts are so deviant no one would love us if they knew.

You're going to make me get the soapbox out again before long, I suspect!
