for a hug. .. .

for a hug. .. . I visited some friends today. had some laughs, shared some stories, and made a smile happen here and there. I think I might have smiled as well  What probably sticks in my mind the most is the hug I got today that lifted me off of my feet. Not the first I have had, and probably won't be the last, but I tell you what, it sure was appreciated. Not sure she will see this post, but then again, life keeps her busy in other regards. and she probably has prospects on the side. such is the way of things when you live where the ladies are outnumbered about 4 to one. Still, that hug. . .. Sheesh, you might think I was a fawning highschool getting ready for the prom or something. Truth be told I never went to prom. Just wasn't my thing if you know what I mean. I think I was a touch too far down that jaded path where I was either lecherous, or jaded. probably a bit of both. Either way, I am sometimes glad I didn't, as I don't really think I fit in at that time of my life. Thankfully I still don't. but don't worry. I make up for it in other ways Well, at least I hope I do . . ..Now what would be so special about a hug on any given day? Probably the content. See, I like ladies who are as big as I am. or at least as strong. When some one picks me up like a bundle of twigs, it sort of catches my notice. yeah, I am odd that way  and yes, for those curious, I returned the favor. I would have done more, but I try to mind my manners. try.Yeah, the lech was strong here today. wanted to do a bit more, but without an invite, I keep it on the tame side. Well, sort of. . . . I still speak of things past, but I also limit that as well. as you never know how it will be taken, or used on you hopefully with a bite or several and scratches to make you remember things, but alas I digress.It is safe to say with proper invitation, I might have been detained in town a bit longer. My peeve for the moment? why is everyone so damned civil and proper? I mean I live where the neighbors come over to visit on horseback and all carry firearms. you would figure we might be a bit more barbaric for the way we get portrayed in the news right? Sigh. Some things in life are just a bit too much to hope for. But still, a good<b> bone </font></b>crushing hug can make your day if you let it. And I did
