When the glove breaks, replace!
This is what my gloves look like after 4 months. I took this picture showing the old and the new. The PPE supplier doesn't like how quickly I blow out gloves. Doing tree work tears gloves and skin apart. I take his complaints to mean that I truly DO do the most work in the department.

Oh, enjoy! ... I heard someone say. Turn the good intentions into actual good deeds. My challenge this weekend for everyone: turn one good intention into a good deed without any compensation other than the knowledge that you helped someone

 i think those well worn gloves are just as sexy as the new one...or even more...i like the men who are not scared of using their hands and really work...

 Well, I work my gloves till they are literally falling apart at the seams. Once they start getting little holes, working the logs, the bark just keeps increasing the size of the holes, soon I'm missing finger protection ... yeah, I work them too hard

 My right hand is fine, the tattered remains of those two fingers became dangerous {could get caught in a saw) so I cut the remains off. My left hand got ground away pretty bad last year, it's healed up to smallish scars on each finger now.
