Another sad day for music fans Tuesday, as word spread that John Warren Geils Jr., the handsome guitarist and leader of that party blues band from Boston had been found dead at his Groton, MA home at age 71.

"Love Stinks", "Centerfold", and "Freeze-Frame" were their biggest singles.

Our blood runs cold, our memories have just been sold, our angel is the Centerfold, and...

 Sad news indeed. I had just posted a song from J Geils. My favorite J Geils song. "Give It To Me". I myself am from Boston. I did not live too far from Groton. It was in the same district when I ran track and field in high school. The Candy Store

 I went to there 10 Anniversary concert It was great small crowd free Champagne Lots of special guests also rocking show
