But, I'm wondering...was it really that bad after we changed it around? Did anyone like it? Overall with taking everything into account and the changes it was fine. Other than the "outing" of the friends network I saw the changes as pointless cosmetic changes. You have numerous problems with basic functionality where the funds used could have better been used. I see issues with programmers using inappropriate time stamps and problems with database synchronization. Make the site work before spending your resources on a new coat of paint. A painted outhouse is still just an outhouse.    The perversity of the universe is unbounded.

It's our profile page so our profile should be the main feature on the page. It occupied less space on the new layout - at least withouht having to scroll. And as you well know it is the bugs (and the undersirab;es "haking" the site) that are what irk many of us genuine, and fee-paying, members.

I like the sleeker and more contemporary LOOK of the new profile design, but what most didn't like (including me) were the layout and the changes (such as viewing activities). A happy medium to me would be to keep the new look, but to have the same layout and and features (of the "old" and now current profile). This should include keeping the areas the same size so that those who have formatted their profiles with tables and blings don't have their profiles all wonky. Thanks!

I preferred the original look. new format was just a waste of paying members contributions,So what is coming next..are you gonna ask the people that pay your wages if they agree with change before you decide to mess things up? This was a complete waste of time and resources,these man hours could have been used to sort out other outstanding issues on here... But then again..It appears the customer doesn't come first on here.. Could you please explain why? Q1.. U.S.A customers have a free phone number and the rest of the world don't? Q2 It has taken 45 minutes to get a reply on the phone,costing as much as our membership? Q3 I call billing and iam transferred to customer services? Q4 does c/s have my credit card details? Q5 Are all your customer service staff V.I.P Specialsts as it states on your voice call? Q6 Why is there never any member of staff available in report abuse ? when you are tranferred through.

I left my comments on your other related post. I'm not against change, but that one didn't work well for many people and the first version of the new didn't work well for nearly everyone given the lack of privacy and the layout.

 I have agree with most everyone~FIX the BUGS/GLITCHES FIRST!!! I've been here almost two years,the same issues are still here! Yes- I have written to the 'site support team'  Never once recieved a decent reply/or fix...only got questioned to what I had done.On a couple times I have recieved two week extensions because of the inconvenice.NoStrings Parody Of a Real Sex Site

Really wish you would work the glitches out of the blogs. I really don't care about the profile anyway. 75% of the people only look at the pics. How is it you relate with that special someone!!! The new format was acceptable (to me) after it was fixed up. It still could've been fixed up a little more, too (get rid of smaller scrollbar, take off tab of friends' activities entirely, take off tab of our activities entirely). I'm wondering if there was a difference between what those of us on the various 'sister sites' were seeing. Somebody mentioned a horrible orange colour scheme. I didn't see anything like that at all on NoStrings. On the profiles that were set with the default colour scheme, they were all a neutral light bluish grey, weren't they? The colour scheme seemed quite inoffensive to me. My biggest problem with the update to the profiles was that it wasn't necessary, and it threw so many other things on the site out of whack while they were introducing it.

The new asthetic look of things was nicer and smoother, but changing around the positions of some things on the layout was extremely problematic. It was the moving things around, broken links on everyone's pics, missing IM adresses, screwed up bling, not being able to see those 3 digit numbers for sending out emails, and dead end links on the blogs that were driving us mad. The biggest thing being moving the different fields around on our (people's) profiles to where they made absolutely No sense. We appreciate the effort that goes into a redesign, and some things seemed cool, but please leave the basic layout as it is now - it just works for us best.

Agreed. Just know that most of those are bugs that get managed through our engineering team. We aren't pulling resources from them to make other changes. Just in general, if you see a glitch - let me know. Send me a message. Especially if it's something new. Sometimes a back end change has effects we didn't see when testing it. Also keep in mind, if it isn't something that is really-really bad - it usually takes 2 to 3 weeks to test and fix. I know some issues have been around much longer than that... Over the entire time I've been here there is one issue that no one in support/abuse/etc can,or has attempted to explain.All I've ever got was give an example~which I give several. >>>Why do the "last visit" not match from page to page??? I can see a member listed as 'online now' on my network page and on my hotlist it will show last visit as 'more than 3 months' and/or vise versa... I have also seen myself on my profile page listed as 'within last 3days' How can I be 'online' and see that? note~I have been here everyday for over a year. Finally,I do see other members ask about this same issue. How does any member know Who is Actually here,and when. I believe there is a major synchronization problem between the different sites/servers that make up NoStrings.I get emailed when I email a member and it tells which site the member is registered to.Hmmm,,, And today about 12pm cst/USA,my "friends activities" disappeared completely,from my homepage and my network page~ ??? The modifications made to the new design made it much better than the first version. But I still much prefer the old design.

Did not mind the look, but as far as working, it did not...lost ability to email members for a couple of weeks...kept getting this permission to view screen over profile pic area..and then it deleted my message and could never send the email...stop wasting my membership time..with updates that need to be worked out...

I could choose to take it or leave it with these new update..... . NoStrings is alright however, the Asian members in my area are horny enough to register but ain't got no guts to even respond to a decent mail. They are looking for what they want yet and still chicken out to actually getting what they are looking for. Agree with "ucumalways2008" monkey business. Guessed they must be monkey registering to NoStrings.

I much prefer the older format of our profiles. Good to see that they have been pretty well restored. Also, I am pleased that we can make our own colours, borders, blings, fonts, and whatnot in them.
