Another day without it...but....

want to hear something pretty fucked up...I have a friend who I trusted...hence the past tense...I gave her some money to hold for me...I got some of it back cause I didn't want to spend it all at once...I was saving the rest so my could have a Christmas since money is really really really tight...that friend does not return my calls or texts for the past three weeks...she still has $400 of my money...I have gone to her work yet to have a fellow employee of hers send me out notes that were not written by my friend but by her employee at work...it has gone as far as cops coming and patrolling where she works for people loitering...I'm attempting one more time to go to her work tomorrow to get my money...I text her to let her know I will be doing this...we shall see what happens! I basically know what will happen...she won't answer me and my will not have a Christmas...why do I even try to trust people or try to help them or try to be nice?!?!?!? I'm so tired of being screwed by friends...and it's not even the screwing that I want. By the way...she is on this site and if you are interested in who this is...let me know...I have stories!!!

 Nothing worse then having the trust you give another, abused or taken so ill intently. I am sorry you had to learn the hard way. I know I have and must still have sucker written or tattooed on my forehead. But I told my son once when he asked me about giving money to a beggar. I told him if the money matters to you or you have plans for it, don't. But if it makes you feel good inside and you don't mind parting with it, then go ahead. Or if the beggar says they are hungry, go buy them a Happy meal or something. They will take it if they are trully hungry and appreciative of it. but if they are just out for their fixes, be it booze or drugs....then you learn what not to do the next time you are faced with that very situation.
I am sorry it cost you a friendship, those are definately harder to take...learned that one too!!!! Best wishes
