And it's Winter before we know it . . .

And it's Winter before we know it . . . And it's Winter before we know it . . . You know, time has a way of moving quickly and catching You unaware of the passing years. It seems just yesterday that I was young, just married and embarking on my new life with my new mate. And yet in a way, it seems like many many moons ago, and I wonder where all the years went. I know that I lived them all . . . And I have glimpses of how it was back then and of all my hopes and dreams! But, here it is . . . the Winter of My Life and it catches me by surprise. How did I get here so fast? Where did the years go and where did my babies go? And where did my youth go? And who cares where did the X go? In My Youth, I remember well, seeing older people through the years, listening to their stories and thinking those older people were years away from me and that Winter was so far off that I could not fathom it or imagine fully what it would be like. But, here it is My Friends, some are retired and really getting gray as they move slower and in the mirror I see an older person now. Lots are in better shape than me, but, I do see the great change. Not like the ones that I remember who were young and vibrant but, like me, their age is beginning to show and we are now those older folks that we used to see and never thought we would be. Each day now, I find that just getting to wake up is a real target for the day! And taking a nap is not a treat anymore it's mandatory! Cause if I don't on my own free will and due to health, as I count the days, I just fall asleep where I sit! And so, now I enter into this new season of my life unprepared for all the aches and pains and the loss of strength and ability to go and do things that I wish I had done but never did!! But, at least I know, that though the Winter will soon come, although very short and I'm not sure how long it will last this I know, that when it's over, its over and Yes, I do have regrets. Be True to yourself, even when it is the most difficult thing to do. Forget what hurt You, but never forget what it taught You. There are things I wish I had not done and things I should have done, but indeed, there are many things I'm happy too have done. You will find as You look back upon Your Life that the moments when You have really lived are the moments when You have done things in the Spirit of Love and lived them all well. I believe age is a state of mind and age has no boundaries! So there you go ... fear nothing, risk everything and have no regrets for how they ever made you smile! Take each day, each step, each breath and Live each moment, making many warm memories all very special, as if they may be your last. It's all in a Lifetime . . . So, if you're not in your Winter yet, let me remind you, that it will be here faster than you think. So, whatever you would like to accomplish in your life please do not do it so quickly! Sometimes the moment has chosen You! There is only one happiness in life, to Love and be Loved. You must Love in such a way that the person You Love feels Free! Only Time decides who You meet in Your Life, Your Heart decides who You want in Your Life, and Your behavior decides Who stays in Your Life. Jus' do what makes You happy, be with Who makes You smile, Laugh as much as You Breathe, Love as long as You Live. Take time to enjoy the moment when it is right and not be in a hurry, but do not put things off too long, like some I have!! Life will pass You by quickly and can be a whisper, this I know very well! So, do what You can today, as You can never be sure whether this is your Winter or not! You have no promise that You will see all the seasons of your life, so live well for today and say all the things that You want your Loved ones and Friends to remember and hope that they appreciate and Love You for all the things that You have done for them in all the years past on making warm memories!! Life is a gift to you from God. The way You live your life is your gift to those who come after. Give those Your Love, close to your Heart, even those You have not met. Love Creates Beauty! Do not fight for the perfect Love of Your dreams. Struggle for those who without being perfect makes You dream and see the Beauty of Life. The person that really Loves You is that looking at the Sky and in Silent Prayers, asking God for You, that take care of You and protect and to never allow that suffers. That Your Happiness depend not on Time, because it changes. That Your Happiness depend not on Money, because it vanishes. That Your Happiness does not rely on Emotions, because we betray. That Your Happiness does not rely on People, because we are imperfect. Your Happiness depends on God who does not change and remains forever, is Faithful, is Perfect and Loves You as no one ever Love You! Every time You wake, wake with New Eyes and ask Yourself, “What Good things am I going to do today?”, but always remember when the sun goes down, at each sunset, it will take part of Your Life with it. Just because the Past did not turn out like You wanted it too, does not mean that Your future can not be better than You ever have imagined and soon it will be Winter. The greatest gift that You can ever give someone is Your Time, because when You are giving someone Your Time, You are giving someone a portion of Your Time You will never get back. Life always offers You a second chance, it is called Tomorrow . . . Only God will know . . . And it's Winter before we know it . . . ~Vaya con Dios Y Amor En Su Corazon Siempre ~ |
