Old Posts Do you have old posts you wish everyone had read, but they are so far back no one ever does? Do you wonder whether you should have one of those "Guide to my blog" kind of headers up - I see them around but even I never delve into the links, and I am an avid back-blogger. I was looking for something I wrote a while back. It took me ages to find it, but when I did - wow! I have been thinking for a while that I ought to go back through and delete a lot of the old posts which don't mean anything any more. But then the comments would be lost. Some of them are from bloggers I have lost touch with. Or just not visited for a while. Some are from wonderful people who suddenly moved on without a trace. There is no way I can check it all for things I would be sad to destroy. So I guess maybe I will leave it all as it is. It's three and a half years of my life! But maybe there are a few posts that people I have only known for a year or two would never find. Maybe I should update them and bring them forward one more time. Or have any of you who have been around a long time any favourite posts you wouldn't want to see deleted? |

i wish you would re-post them.. i don't usually look at those link pages.. too much work.. i've been re-reading you lately... and i think the ladies would just love to read your sexy words each morning... Respond to every call that excites Your Spirit ~Rumi  ..

You shouldn't delete any of your blogs. It would be fun going back over them years later, and see if you have changed in that time. If nothing else, you might get a laugh out of re reading them.

I like to read back like that too, often the deepest, most revealing stuff is near the beginning of a blog. Maybe the problem I have with other peoples lists is that they are too long - like ten or twenty links under each of five headings. Maybe if I do it I will make it a sticky post with links back to posts which reflect something I am thinking about now, so that people who want to read back know what might be relevant. But they probably won't read them anyway, lol!

Yes certainly parts of mine are like a journal too, even though I very rarely post about day to day stuff.

I like the headers on blogs with things sorted, and I find it makes me want to look deeper. Elevate me...
