RESPECT : WE all NEED to do Better

[image] Happy Holiday Weekend USA !!, Just wanted to send a HUGE Thank you to all my amazing Readers, bloggers, members .You took the time to come visit my little blog and joined in the Bloggers United Wave. It is wonderful now opening the blogs and seeing members happy, laughing, sharing and smiling..with no FEAR of abuse or bullying. Thank you all so very much for making the decision to Respect others & enjoy the site for the very reason it was made. To Network, find friends and Have fun  Thank you also to the bloggers who've been so kind & generous and took time out of their busy lives/schedule to blog about Me...I am so flattered. To think of all the respect and kindness from the United Bloggers for me..To my surprise darling readers , Other bloggers are blogging about me...Yes, I was surprised too. ALL I had hoped for this blog was that the wounds opened by a grotesque petition..could be closed and fear banished from the blog world. Now I find myself being blogged about ..I can not wait to tell Andrew about this... I think he'll smile & laugh. Plus remind him we need to work on rotating the blog list & the header issue too..( giant notepad saves the day !! )Just a tiny note here...I know a blogger does not care...about blogging or the members or even the site..Yet I am so curious..all that NON caring yet they manage to find my blog...write a post on this very blog yet all they did was say " the other bloggers are bad "..all this non caring yet you took the time to seek out a blog you had never seen before, post about a group of top bloggers you do not know on a post about RESPECT for ALL...and still..you just do not care. Amazing. I hope all the caring, intelligent, supportive bloggers who stood up for ALL members & are trying to fix all the glitches so all members can enjoy the site & be happy... did not scare you away from the site. Ana, Here's a thought. I've said this many times before but I'm going to try again. If you like this idea, maybe you can suggest it to Site. We know that the Site will never get rid of the List. They like it there for newbies to see. Also, they want the best blogs to show there ( who THEY consider the best, either by unique responders or responses ) How about we randomly rotate the list with only THOSE blogs? For example... the people that they have on the list right now would stay the same. But every time you re-opened the blog home page, those same names would be in a different random order. This would make no one #1. But the Site would still have THEIR idea of who is best showing on the list. There'd be no reason for harassing, behind the scenes trickery, none of that. Why bother? No one is #1. I really think if they did that it would get rid of most of the negativity that we see here way too often. They already have the capability (coding) to do this. They do that with the three " Some Actively Watched Blogs " pictures on the top off the blog home page. It's a good and fair idea. They're never going to get rid of that list for business purposes and they want the best (their picks) to show there. This lets them have what they want but stops all the negativity in the blogs. Personally I think that people should be here to meet others, not to get awards for the best blogs.. Rotating would make everything easier..Espescially for those trying to stay on top.. No need to work so hard to stay on top if the blogs are rotated... There are those that get their jollies from being on top of the list.. I'm not one of them.. I dont like the pressure and stress from trying to stay on top of the list. I just love being able to blog here... Looking forward to a good year ahead!! Stars_light4U

Dear Nero, Happy Sat Night I hope you are doing well & having a lovely evening. My apologies to you Sir..I was dealing with a migraine and going through my blog rather quickly last night & early Sat morn and I missed seeing your comment until now. I really appreciate all the time it took you & other great members to share their feelings & ideas. I look at every post and if someone is kind enough to share an idea or a concern they want to pass along to someone at HQ, I send it in and give the member full credit I can tell you for many yrs I was a standard too ..I know how hard it was when the site changed things and reduced what standards can do. I love this site and the amazing friends I've made here but I yelled up a storm over this 1 IM per life of the handle/profile..and can't read emails sent to you. To me how is the site ever going to convince standards to upgrade by withholding what yo u can do ? I am still mentioning fixing this and won't give up till we achieve some kind of good results. Yes, there is the Icebreaker system where women were given free silver then gold to send emails to members on the site welcoming them. I was worried when that one started that the men who are members here are going to feel left out. I do think all the women who are & were Icebreaker's from the beginning should be allowed to keep their gold free for life as was promised. As for the bloggers I am just hoping everyone can blog in peace now and share to their hearts content. I know that not every blog or blogger is everyone's cup of tea but I am glad that in recent months I have been able to view and learn from new blogs and that is what I love about blogging..Not who is number 1, 2 or whatever...but the learning & sharing. Thank you Nero, and I know the site is working on the IM. I hope you will stay a member here as we need all the wonderful members we can get. No, we never advocate or encourage violence towards others. No one that I know would think of doing that to anyone online or off. I love the idea of sharing the love & respect. I think that is a great idea. It might help all the other bloggers and then the drama and stupidity of blog wars might end once and for all. I never understood what joy there was in threatening, lying , bullying someone online or off. I think he must be very tired of all these blog wars, bullies and threats almost as much as we are.. He came back to the site to help fix things and create new and exciting features and just when we are catching our breath, a new mess starts. Fingers crossed we are soon over all this sadness and into the light & happiness of a great site , intelligent & caring members and Fun Fun Fun. I like that idea.. Personally I think that people should be here to meet others, not to get awards for the best blogs.. I would love to see more of it, but sadly, given today's need for immediate gratification snd hashtag social crappery, I won't hold my breath. But I WILL continue to hope. Ana-- first off -- Happy Labor Day Weekend--- and Thank you for all you have done. I am in no way a saint on here!. I have to admit I am a paying member and buy points occasionally to become a fan or tip for a cam show or a nice picture or video. I know that there was some bullying--- yes I got caught up in it with one particular person. he seems be gone now. I believe a person should be able to identify with the sex they feel they are with no prejudice. This is a good and fun site where people can if they want to meet others. I think they need to police the blogs a bit better.

Dear McAna, I am very late to commenting here, but I wanted to thank you for your steadfast and determined approach in helping to resolve some of the ongoing issues we face in our community. For me, the platform for every interaction with another person ought to be one of respect. Respect is not something you earn, though it is something you lose. You dear lady are an exemplar for how people should behave towards each other, if every person displayed a fraction of the dignity you have we would not be faced with so much nonsense. It really made me smile. Kindness can be a very rare thing and you have shown me such a great amount this day. I will always appreciate it. For me I have always treated everyone with respect. Unless they give me a reason not to. Then instead of trading barbs or obscene insults, I walk away. Once I lose faith or respect & trust in someone there is nothing more to be said. I achieve nothing by being a bully or an abuser. I try to encourage others to do the same. If someone does not like a member or their posts & blog then the easiest thing to do is avoid it. Do not read it or comment. Take that higher road and the good feelings & positive attitude will make you feel better too. Just think...a whole world of amazing members blogging or commenting on blogs and all that humor, caring, laughter, support to brighten our days and give us something to smile about or even think/learn from. I want to thank everyone who showed courage and bravery when faced with some issues & incidents. You proved me right when I said how Great Our Members are. I am in awe of your intelligence and fortitude. Your courage inspires others to stand and have their voices counted. I can't tell you how much it pisses me off to no end when I see stories on the news about men abusing women. Why can't those guys realize that it was a woman that brought them into this world? Happy Thurs Thank you for your wonderful & brave service for our country !I wrote this post due to some abuse that was targeting a woman and members of our LBGTQ community of members. Thankfully most of our men and women members are very supportive, caring people. I appreciate your taking the time to seek out my blog and post your feelings. I think any " person " or their fake multiple profiles who sets out to be abusive, harass , intimidate, encourage others to commit violent acts, invasion of innocent women's privacy..well those so called " people " do not belong on any website where normal thinking, caring, intelligent people gather.
